Novalja

The city of Novalja is located in the southwest part of Lika-Senj County. It is situated in the northwest part of the Pag Island, while the remaining part of the island is within Zadar County. Novalja Municipality includes 10 settlements (Metajna, Zubovići, Kustići, Caska, Gajac, Stara Novalja, Novalja, Potočnica and Lun), the largest of which - Novalja - has 2500 residents and is the administrative seat of the municipality. Tourism is most certainly one of the main industries and together with the extensive apartmentization which started from the middle of the previous century, it is responsible for accelerated development of this part of Adriatic coast. 

Moderate, Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters, coloured by contrasts visible at every step and barren by strong bora wind, Novalja is a phenomenon with which you quickly bond.
